Winning schools 2007

Thank you to all the schools who took the time to enter the competition. We were delighted with all the entries - the standard was very high and the winning schools' contributions were particularly outstanding.
Teachers and students from the winning school projects were invited to a special Awards Ceremony at the House of Commons in London on 15th October where they received their prize from the Speaker of the House of Commons and where the overall UK-wide winners were announced. Joint first prize was awarded to Thomas' Battersea School in London and Woodhill Primary School in Bishopbriggs, Scotland. The runner-up was St Nicholas CE Primary School in Crosby, North West England.
