Consultation on the 5-year strategic plan for England

e-skills UK has started a consultation on its strategic plan for England, seeking input from all those with an interest in the UK's IT & Telecoms skills base.

We are particularly interested in your views on the five strategic objectives and the approaches proposed to address them. They are summarised in the questionnaire below.

By commenting on the strategic objectives, you will be able to give us your views on subjects ranging from addressing the gender imbalance, updating the school curriculum and deepening links between industry and Higher Education, to improving access to learning for IT professionals in small companies and making the best use of public funding for training provision.

Your contribution will help us make the biggest impact on UK productivity and competitiveness. We appreciate you taking the time to contribute.

The consultation is open until Friday 27th June 2008.

We are asking all contributors to submit their input online.
