About e-skills UK
Rated 'outstanding'
e-skills UK was rated 'outstanding' in the Sector Skills Council relicensing process, which was undertaken in 2009 by the National Audit Office (NAO) and the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES) on behalf of the government. The 'outstanding' rating reflects the impact that e-skills UK makes and the high regard in which it is held by employers, educators and government.
The NAO report highlighted in particular e-skills UK's breadth and depth of employer involvement, strategic vision, excellence in research, innovation in standards and qualifications, and pioneering programmes to address the most important IT skills issues across the UK.
We are delighted that our work has been recognised in this way, and thank the many partners who work with us to make sure the UK has the technology skills it needs.
