Action Plan - Four solutions

Having analysed the issues in detail, e-skills UK, with enormous help from its employer board and other employers right across the sector, has identified four solutions – described in the Sector Skills Agreement for IT (SSA): Action Plan. The Action Plan sets out a clear strategy with realistic and measurable actions. It proposes innovative and sometimes radical approaches. With it, we have a unique opportunity to make fundamental, far-reaching improvements to UK skills, competitiveness and long-term prosperity.

These four solutions are:

• Make IT careers more attractive
• Prepare the future workforce
• Develop the existing workforce
• Improve the existing infrastructure
