e-skills UK acts as the voice of employers on IT, Telecoms and Contact Centres. We are dedicated to the needs of business, improving competitiveness and productivity through action on skills. Our job is to ensure that the skills employers need are the skills employers get.
Our action in Scotland is guided by the SSA for IT Action Plan for Scotland which was created and published in Sep 05 to unite employers, educators and government on a common agenda for change. The plan is based on the findings of a major research report carried out with Gartner, IT Insights: Skills Gap Analysis - Scotland.
