Academy Development Steering Group (ADSG)

Purpose and objectives

The ADSG has being formed to oversee the business plan development work for the National Skills Academy for IT, through to August 2009. In particular, it will help the development team to ensure:

  • That the products and services to be offered by the Academy will meet the priority needs of the sector
  • That the business model of the Academy will support a self-sustaining operation
  • That there is support across the sector which enables the implementation of the business plan

Context

The Skills Academy for IT will be led by employers and e-skills UK, working in partnership on behalf of the IT and Telecoms sector. The Academy will provide access to high quality learning and training resources from a network of education and training providers, as well as stimulate new, innovative training solutions.

The ADSG meets monthly. The group is not currently open to new members, but for any enquiries, including opportunities to attend workshops and consultations on the subject, please email Julie Feest.
