Awarding Body Forum (ABF)
Purpose and objectives
The purpose of the Forum is to keep e-skills UK, the Regulatory Authorities and Awarding Bodies up-to-date with each other's activities generally. There is a particular emphasis on the Sector Skills Agreement (our plan for addressing the skills issues of the sector) and the Sector Qualifications Strategy. The Forum also acts as a vehicle to discuss future qualification developments and ongoing operational issues related to the delivery, assessment and verification of S/NVQs.

The remit of the Forum includes those sectors for which e-skills UK is the Sector Skills Council (IT User, IT professional and Telecoms) and also Contact Centres for which e-skills UK acts as the Standards Setting Body.
The Forum meets four times a year.
