Ongoing professional development

Combining formal further education and training with a job is possible for those aged 16 – 24 throughout the UK.  National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) can be studied in ICT subject areas.  An example of a professional qualification for IT Users is ITQ.  An example of a professional qualification for IT professionals is an IT Professional Vendors Qualification (e.g. Cisco and Microsoft).
