Heinemann's new "Learning to Pass" series for New CLAiT 2006, and CLAiT Plus 2006 are fully mapped to ITQ and include information about how CLAiT units contribute towards to ITQ.

New from the Learning and Skills Network
- New ITQ e-resources are available on the learning technologies website - http://www.learningtechnologies.ac.uk/itq/index.htm. There will be an IT security and more content packaging tutorials to come by the end of November.
- LSN runs a number of projects to support the development of contextualised ICT skills acquisition for teaching staff and those that directly support teaching and learning though the ITQ qualification. Interactive learning materials and teaching materials are available from the Learning Technologies website downloads section. For information on current projects contact Danny Atwere.
- The Consumer Guide to ePortfolio Tools and Services from the Solent eLearning Network, guides you through the process of understanding ePortfolios and selecting a suitable system to support ITQ assessment.
Adult and continuing education providers should also use the resources developed by NIACE: ITQ: a Guide for Adult Learning Providers, by Di Dawson and Terry Loane, published in September 2006.
The Guide gives details of additional resources which you may find helpful. It also includes several helpful checklists and templates.
