Policy

Introduction

The e-skills UK Research and Policy unit monitors and analyses policy developments emerging from government departments, as well as regional and national bodies. We provide high quality policy consultations, influencing government debate and policy development.  The aim of the unit is to ensure that e-skills UK are aware of and able to influence the developing policy initiatives that will shape education and training in the IT and Telecoms sector as well as IT user skills across the UK. 

Our main outputs include:

  • responses to consultations
  • policy briefing papers
  • a range of other activities and events

Digital Britain

On 29 January 2009, the Government published a plan to secure Britain’s place at the forefront of the global digital economy - 'Digital Britain: the interim report'. For more information on our joint response with Skillset, go to www.e-skills.com/digitalbritain.

ePolitix
