IT Insights suite of reports

Access direct at www.e-skills.com/itinsights

IT InsightsCollectively, the suite of 'IT Insights' documents comprises what is considered to be the most exhaustive study ever undertaken in the UK on IT-related skills matters.

Carried out in collaboration wit Gartner Consulting in 2004-2005, the research covers today’s reality and forecasts the future based on the best available global intelligence. It considers the whole IT spectrum; the IT industry; IT professionals in other industries; the needs of business managers and leaders in order to realise the potential of IT; and the needs of individuals in order to fully participate in the e-economy. It provides detailed intelligence at the UK-wide, national and regional levels.

For free downloadable copies of the reports - including the main report, regional reports and reports for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - go to FREE DOWNLOADS.

The publication ’IT Insights: Trends and UK Skills Implications’ is the lead document for this suite of publications. For an overview of the findings, check the launch press release (1st Nov 04).

The ‘IT Insights’ suite of research publications underpins the development of a coherent strategy for IT skills for the UK, embodied in e-skills UK’s Sector Skills Agreement (SSA) for IT.
