Opportunities with the Tech Partnership
The Tech Partnership is a growing network of employers, collaborating to create the skills to accelerate the growth of the digital economy. Recognised by government, it acts for the good of the sector. It is focused on inspiring young people about technology, enabling talented people from all backgrounds to get into technology careers, and helping companies develop the technology skills they need for the future.
A significant new programme of work means that the team supporting the Partnership (e-skills UK) is recruiting for three new posts. These are:
Customer Service Advisor - To provide a first point of contact for employers and training providers to help them access the most appropriate service to meet their skill needs. The role involves responding to e-mail and telephone enquiries as well as initiating contact, whether by outbound calling or e mail, to increase the number of employers benefiting from our services. The role also includes producing and maintaining up to date information and FAQs on different products and services.
Apprenticeship Standards and Quality Advisor - To support the development of new IT apprenticeship Standards, update and maintain existing framework documentation in all four nations, provide technical support and advice to internal and external stakeholders and maintain effective relationships with Awarding Organisations. The role includes assessing training programmes against Frameworks and Standards
Certification Administrator - To undertake audits of evidence to support certification claims, issue certificates and ensure training providers are kept up to date with framework releases. This involves auditing and authorising evidence against certification claims; issuing certificates against IT Frameworks and Standards; and ensuring the efficient operation of the Apprenticeship Certification England (ACE) system, according to defined quality standards. This role also includes responsibility for the efficient operation of the Apprenticeship Certification Wales (ACW) and MA Online Scotland systems.
Higher Education Team Support Administrator - The HE Team Support Administrator will help the HE team with the many interactions with employers, universities and students, particularly in connection with the numerous student events which will be taking place over the next 6 months. They will work with the HE team to produce materials which will then be used at the events.
