Computer Clubs for Girls

e-skills UK Computer Clubs for Girls (CC4G) has changed the way girls think about technology and IT careers.

This section aims to celebrate the achievements of all the girls, volunteers and partners, in the UK, who have contributed to the success of the programme for the past three years.

ACROSS THE UK

CC4G was launched across England in 2005 with funding for 3 years from the DCSF.

Between 2005 and 2008, CC4G has engaged more than 3,600 schools and 125,000 members in England alone.

Projects have also been established in Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland and take up there has been equally as enthusiastic.
