Women in IT Forum launches "Towards a Business Case for Diversity" report

The Women in IT Forum, will be meeting up on Wednesday 13 April to launch the research - 'Towards a Business Case for Diversity' - which the DTI and the Forum have supported. Aside from the launch of the research, a panel session will debate the latest developments in encouraging more women into the technology industries and how this could be improved.

The Women in IT Forum seeks to promote dialogue in the workplace, through the engagement of both employers and their employees. Rebecca George from IBM chairs the body with responsibilities for the secretariat shared between Intellect and the DTI. The Forum has broad stakeholder representation, including trade associations, trade unions, Government agencies, industry (selection of Small, Medium, Large, IT and Non IT sector), voluntary sector and networking groups.
