PITCOM and e-skills UK announce judges for Made IT Happen competition

PITCOM (the Parliamentary Information Technology Committee) and e-skills UK are delighted to announce the judging panel for the Made IT Happen competition. This new competition is open to pupils aged 9 to 11 in all primary and junior schools across the UK. The judges will be looking for innovative projects that demonstrate best use of the school’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) resources to the benefit of the school, local community, in the UK or across the world. 

The judges are:

  • Lord Toby Harris of Haringey, Chair, Hon Treasurer, PITCOM
  • Andrea Kalavsky, Systems Magician, Innocent Drinks
  • Karen Price OBE, CEO, e-skills UK
  • Stephen Darvill, Government Relations Director, LogicaCMG
  • Emily Taylor, Director of Legal and Policy, Nominet
  • Steve Head, Education Consultant, M.G.L

Teachers and students from the winning school projects will be invited to a special Awards Ceremony at the House of Commons in London on 15th October where they will receive their prize from the Speaker of the House of Commons and where the overall UK-wide winners will be announced.
