Business IT Guide

The Business IT Guide (the Guide) is an online tool designed to help smaller businesses in using ICT to improve efficiency and productivity. The Guide enables businesses to access a wide range of high quality independent advice to help them fully exploit ICT.

The Guide is aimed mainly at smaller businesses, with fewer than 10 staff, but will be of use to any business that does not have dedicated internal ICT expertise (typically organisations with up to as many as 25 people). The Guide can be used by anybody within such a business to explore how ICT could help their business make money, save time, save money and avoid problems.

Training and Development Guide

From our work with employers across IT & Telecoms, we know that a majority of employers are interested in gaining access to government support for training.

And so, we have developed the e-skills Training and Development Guide, to help the business community find and, potentially fund, IT training and development programmes. The online Guide will highlight funded or subsidised ICT training and development opportunities.
