Business Process and Change Management

Introduction

This discipline area is concerned with the knowledge and understanding required to:

  • conduct business analysis
  • design/redesign business processes
  • manage the implementation of business change
  • design/redesign organizations
  • ensure that benefits associated with the above are realised.

These activities are frequently, though not exclusively, undertaken by IT professionals as much business and organisational change occurs either as a result of changes in available technology or results in changes to IT systems.
