Schools workshops
Go4IT - year 9
Go4IT are exciting, interactive half-day workshops for year 9 pupils which aim to enthuse and inspire them about careers in technology. The workshops are hosted at employers' premises, giving young people the opportunity to experience what it's like to work for the company.
Free of charge for the school
The only cost for schools are travelling to and from the employer's premises and paying for the teachers to accompany the pupils. A maximum of 30 pupils can attend each workshop.
No preparatory work is required and the workshop is facilitated by an e-skills UK representative.
Tailor made for the employer
The host employer receives a resource pack containing all the information required to plan a successful workshop. Delivery of the workshop is undertaken by an experienced e-skills UK representative with input from a number of the employer's IT professionals.
