Employers and ITMB
The uniqueness and relevance of the ITMB programme is recognised by over 50 international and national companies, many of which are household names. This number is continuously growing as new companies learn about and join the programme.
The employers are responsible for setting the strategy for the ITMB programme and are committed to maintain its quality and relevance to their respective industries. They also play a key role with the universities by providing structured onsite support to the ITMB lecturers and students. In this way they help the ITMB students develop the skills and knowledge required to enable them to secure good jobs in the IT world - hopefully within one of their companies.
Some of the employers involved are:
Accenture, BA, BBC, BT, CA, Capgemini, Cisco, Deloitte, Ford, Fujitsu, HP/EDS, IBM, ITV, Logica, Micro Focus, Morgan Stanley , Network Rail, Procter & Gamble, Sainsbury's, SAS and Unilever.
Throughout the degree, representatives from the supporting companies go into the universities to share their experience, in the form of Guru Lectures.
Many of the employers offer graduate recruitment schemes. These can give you an idea of the kind of role that a successful ITMB student could progress into.
