e-skills UK is pleased to announce the 2nd Delivering Digital Wales event on the 29th September 2011 at the Hilton Hotel Cardiff.
This event is within the context of Welsh Government Economic renewal programme and Digital Wales policy and is free of charge thanks to our Platinum and Gold sponsors, the Open University in Wales and OCR Wales.
The event is aimed at:
- IT employers from across Wales, both large and small
- Companies who employ IT professionals in both the private and public sector
- Higher Education providers
- Further Education and training providers
- Schools
- Economic Development Departments
- Business intermediaries
- Careers Wales and University Careers services
We will bring together Welsh Government Policy makers and key stakeholders in Wales in order to:
- Enhance a partnership approach to securing a vibrant economy based on a healthy pipe line talent for the IT and creative sector
- Support the needs of IT professionals in Wales
- Strengthen demand side of employers in relation to skills and broker more efficacious links between employers, educators and government

We will run an extra workshop "e-skills UK Pathways to Apprenticeship inaugural seminar" after the event has concluded at 3 pm. This workshop is for Further Education providers ONLY.
