On Day 4 of #ByteIT, for their second round of insights, the National Skills Academy for IT was lucky enough to speak with Philip Oliver, CEO and co-founder of Blitz Games Studios. Launched last Monday, the Skills Academy #ByteIT is a 10 day-campaign of insights and discussions with key leaders in the IT sector.
Founded in 1990 by industry veterans Philip and Andrew Oliver, Blitz Games Studios has grown into one of the largest, most stable, and respected development studios in the world. The Skills Academy talked to Philip about the emerging trends facing the UK games industry and what the implications on the skills of the workforce will be.
