Supporting people to get online for the first time
One of the ITQs we’ve helped build is the Entry Level 3 Award in Online Basics.
It’s designed to support the Online basics initiative which aims to help people get online for the first time by giving them the skills and confidence they need to use the internet.
This qualification helps learners improve their employability and can give them the confidence to pursue further IT training.
The single-unit qualification covers:
- how to use a mouse and keyboard
- how to email
- how to search for information
- staying safe online
