ITQ Training providers

Our tips on managing ITQs can help you deliver more value and bring in repeat business

The new ITQ framework means big changes for training providers. But with our advice and guidance, you should find that delivering value to learners and their employers is easier than ever before.

Our tips for delivering the ITQs

Make sure your learners get the most from their ITQs by:

  • using the flexibility of an ITQ to encourage learners to choose from a wide range of units at different levels
  • choosing a personalised learning timeframe, as there’s no longer a 10-week minimum between registration and certification
  • delivering value to employers by encouraging learners to stretch to a higher level
  • offering the best return on investment by choosing units that are appropriate for a learner’s skill, current role and potential future role
  • providing feedback that tells candidates whether they are on the right track
  • making sure learners can gain real-world benefits by having them demonstrate their learning in practice
  • following our best practice guidelines for quality assurance and assessment – learn more at our ITQ delivery and assessment page
