About e-skills UK
e-skills UK is the Sector Skills Council for Business and Information Technology, rated 'outstanding' in the re-licensing of Sector Skills Councils in 2009. We work on behalf of employers to ensure the UK has the technology skills it needs to succeed in a global digital economy. Our work covers software, internet & web, IT services, telecommunications and business change.
Our mission is to ensure the UK has the skills needed to enable Digital Britain. We are a not-for-profit, employer-led organisation which brings together employers, educators and Government to address together the technology-related skills issues no one party can solve on its own. We provide advice, services and programmes that have a measurable impact on IT related skills development in the UK.
